We all have problems. Some seem bigger than others. Some are bigger than others. Some are piled one on top of another. Some of us have a few things on this list, some of us have none. But what if you could choose your problems…
Here’s a list. Which one of these would you like to be stuck with?
• Fighting cancer • Being in an abusive relationship • Caring for a child with disabilities • Poverty-stricken • Living in a war torn village • Being told by your government that you and your family must separate and you will all be moved to different concentration camps, and that you need to turn over ALL your possessions. • Losing a loved one • Morbid obesity • Having a teen who commit suicide • Drug addiction • Living alone • Having AIDS • Losing your child to a religious cult, or a gang • Being kidnapped and imprisoned • Homelessness • Shunned by your family & friends • Arrested and charged for a criminal act • Not being loved by somebody you love • Failing an important test • Extreme anxiety • Depression • Psychological disorder • Sexual abuse in childhood • Abandonment • Chronic Pain • Health issues • Co-dependence • Love addiction • Living in a country which is currently dealing with genocide • Being ostracized • Losing your faith • Losing your house and all your belongings to a natural disaster • Having a child that's a picky eater • Stuck in a boring/hostile or deadend job
The point of this list is not to depress you. It’s to help you put your life in perspective. To give you back some of your power. And to help you to be grateful for what you have and haven’t got.

I am sitting here crying right now.
I just wrote out about my anger and etc at myself and my POA and it all just seems so petty when put into perspective of what I COULD be dealing with.
Thank you so much for perfect timing.

Hopefully this list is not minimizing your suffering! Suffering is all relative. But it has ALWAYS helped me to get over my own pain when I know that there are people in the world carrying so much more. I use this tool as a way to be grateful.
More importantly, which of your problems can you change or control, which can't you? And of the problems you cannot change, can you change your PERSPECTIVE on them?
