When you're on the right path...
You don't feel extreme highs and lows anymore
You don't feel anger or resentment towards others anymore
You don't have unrealistic expectations of where you should be in life
You don't have unrealistic expectations of yourself or others anymore
You don't have that constant inner struggle and doubt, wondering if you are on the right path.
You no longer have a crushing need for a PoA
You understand your obsessions or addictions and know how control them or put them to better use
You no longer want to hurt yourself.
You recognize that you are your most valuable asset and you want to take care of you.
You have a healthy perspective of humanity and what we were all designed to become
You have a desire for inner growth and knowledge
You are no longer starving. You feel fed.
You are generally happy with who you are and what you've become
You can forgive yourself
You no longer believe that a romantic relationship is the answer to all your problems
You are willing to work hard at continued inner strength
You remain grounded and avoid too much fantasy
You can financially and otherwise take care of yourself and you recognize the importance of being able to do so.
You are able to take calculated, healthy risks in the face of your fears
You are respectful of others, without being judgmental
You finally recognize all the time you've wasted in addiction and have redirected your energy into something more altruistic.
You no longer think and act like a baby or a teen, but an adult
You have cultivated a healthy perspective of life and have the ability to transform negative events into positive learning experiences
You are finally able to love others as opposed to needing or obsessing over them
You are finally able to love yourself, despite who you are and your shortcomings...
