I'm a Christian, so today is very powerful for me, even if this is not the actual day in history, what it stands for has been so moving for me. It's the day when Jesus enters into Jerusalem on the back of a Donkey and her foul. All the people who believed in him were very happy and laid their clothing and fresh cut palms leaves before him as he made his way into Jerusalem. They were proclaiming “Hosanna to the Son of David! ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ Hosanna in the highest!” www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew+21&version=NKJVThis is the beginning of the week when Christ would go to the cross and die an innocent man. I love how he humbled himself and came to do the father's work. He showed us how much God loves us. This is what he said about himself when he was speaking in a synagogue.. Luke 4:18“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, 19to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” When I accepted him, I surely was all these that he spoke of. Today I'm letting him heal me. Check it out, donkey's have this imprint on their backs. Picture taken from christiancowpokecommentary.blogspot.com/
