I'm exploring the different types of therapy available. I'm considering dialetical behavior therapy, it is said to be very effective for those with BPD. Has anyone here had any experience with such therapy? I am also considering hypnotherapy for childhood exploration. Here is a link about DBT for those interested: psychcentral.com/lib/2010/whats-the-difference-between-cbt-and-dbt/

Hey DBT is Dialetical Behavior Treatment. Its a lengthy therapy. It uses Southern methods. I observed it performs well but can be expensive and can take years.Thnaks a lot!!

Hi Susan,
I had a fellow eating disorder sufferer work through a DBT workbook with me. I found it very helpful, and honestly I need to go through that workbook again (and finish the 12 steps!). DBT is really helpful for addictions and eating disorders.
