I feel you on this one. It's like you still have leftover parts of your old self and they are in conflict with your new self. I know I felt hat It's at this point where it feels like you aren't sure which way is up. It's old programming not wanting to be erased for the new unknown. Hang in there-we've all been there  |

After months of depression and high emotions, thanks to my spiritual practice and the recovery Steps, I feel calmer within but it feels strange. I also feel like I am in limbo, a place in between: left a very a painful place but not quite sure where I am and where I am going ... It is just a funny place to be. Vivi I call this place you are in a turning point. You are ready for a shift in consciousness . . . to exchange the new for the old. New behavior. New emotions. New ideas. New people. New love. New ideas . . . newness in general. This is the perfect time to do the third step. The operative words in this step are "decision" [conscious choice] and "care' [benovelence]. The Third step prayer, in addiction to the step, is to help you internalize and retain the concept of surrender. When I took this step I did not know what God had planned for me. It turned out that my personal dreams had been way to small. I am a published author. Do you know how amazing that is. I still remember playing "school" as a child just so I could write. I started with journals. Then I organized my thoughts around my recovery and wrote a book. The rest is history. Let this turning point happen . . . open you heart and evolve into the person you were meant to be. Namaste. |
