Try this for 20 mins a day - make time in a quiet comfortable place. The entire goal is to be with your feelings - whether they're good or bad. Completely embrace your feelings no matter how uncomfortable, learn from them and be fully present.
Be aware that your feelings will intensity the more you focus on them. Breathe in an out through your nose and concentrate on how you feel. 1. Think about how i feel 2. When did I last experience this exact feeling 3. When did I first experience this feeling in my life If it was from when you were really young, you may just experience a feeling without a memory to go with it. 4. If it is a negative experience change it to a positive one. For eg if your dad walked out change it to an experience where you had a loving and nurturing father.
