You probably are aware of this if you take Wellbutrin or Xanax. Low dopamine is often implicated in ADHD and OCD and also love addiction. While not every case of addiction is a result of low dopamine, some people may find relief by taking herbs or medicines that increase dopamine. This helps deal with withdrawls and with focusing on more important things, like work.
For a month now, I've taken a combo of tyrosine, theanine, and gingko biloba. In addition to giving me a lot of energy, they have also allowed me to focus my attention on work instead of daydreaming about my PoA. Truly, I believe that love addiction sometimes stems from imbalances in hormones and neurotransmitters.
Has anyone else tried the herbal route?
