The past five years I’ve had a lot of losses, and I really almost had a nervous breakdown last winter.
I was doing better for awhile, but now my anxiety is ramping up again.
I remember times in the past when I felt pretty safe and I wasn’t scared all the time that life would take something important away from me at any minute. I think I’d give my left arm to feel that way again.
This is a painful way to go through life - constantly worried that something bad is about to happen. I see my doctor next month. Maybe I’ll ask him about a safe and effective way to use my Ativan. Right now, I’m supposed to take it “as needed”, but I’m wondering if it would help me to take it on some kind of a regular schedule.
