Hello fellow LAAs! Returning to LAA after working other programs. I really thought I had my LAA issues “under control” via my other programs, but I’ve been so hurt and insecure via friendships and family lately, that I’m sure it’s rared it’s ugly head. Anyway I’m ready to get a sponsor( which I have) and ready to work the steps here. I want to be teachable. Thank you.

Thank you. My personal experience is that when it comes to love addiction, I can only have a remission. This is because our love addiction is rooted in our childhood trauma. My original wound was the trauma that happened to me. My primary wound is self-alienation. Self-love helps me heal, but it comes and goes. Still, my love addiction does come up less often and is less intense. I can see what is going on with me right away and nip it in the bud. Welcome back.
