Hello, I am a new member. I recently started therapy and was told I have a love addiction as my therapist said is the clinician term. Wow! I never knew it existed. I heard of attachment issues, co-dependency and things like that but never love addiction. It is a little scarey but I believe in getting help for anything that you may suffer from, so here I am. It's been years of this pattern for me, I have a long way to go. But I'm here. Thank you!

Welcome to Love Addicts Anonymous. It is good to hear that therapists are finally recognizing love addiction as a real problem. When I started recovery, the psychiatric community refused to acknowledge it because it is a self-help term.
