Intergroup Meeting Minutes
April 2, 2022
1. Katya and other volunteers are going to create a written safety protocol to go with the new Meetings Hosts' Bill of Rights
2. The Meeting Hosts' Bill of Rights was approved.
3. It was agreed that it would ok to waive the rotation requirement if someone wants to stay on and no one else is interested in the position.
4. It was agreed that the ODAAT Time Coordinator could not relieve anyone of their position. This can only happen by a group consensus at the Intergroup.
5. It was agreed that meeting hosts could announce that the meeting is a "no check-in meeting" as long and people can check in during the after-hours meetings.
6. A discussion was begun, and will continue, regarding which meeting matters are up to that meeting (Tradition 4) and which matters must go to Intergroup and which matters would go to IBM because they affect "LAA as a whole." All opinions are welcome. Please post here with your ideas and try to bring them to the next meeting.
7. It was agreed to meet again next Saturday to continue this discussion after Jim Hall speaks around 10:15 a.m.. Everyone is welcome
8. There was not time to set a time and date for the ODAAT business meeting to discuss only the 9:00 a.m. and 5:30 meetings. Suggestions are welcome. Until then all ODAAT matters will be handled by the Intergroup.
9. At the April 9 meeting the new Meeting Hosts Guidelines was presented and put up for a vote. It was approved unanimously.
10. The meetings hosts in attendance gave their report.
11. The meeting was closed with the LAA Closing Prayer.

Meeting Hosts' Bill of Rights
A disruption is anything that is said or done at a meeting of LAA to make others feel uncomfortable. This includes the after-hours meetings.
1. The meeting host has a right to enforce the LAA Guidelines without being attacked.
2. The meeting host has a right to ask anyone to be considerate of group safety.
3. The meeting host has the right to mute anyone who is being disruptive.
4. The meeting host has a right to remove disruptive people from a meeting.
5. The meeting host has the right to ban someone from future meetings for one week.
6. The meeting host has the right to ban someone permanently after a discussion with the Intergroup.
