Last night, I got a glimpse of my wounded inner child Susie. In a dream, I was lying on the floor at the feet of my mother’s bed. I could not see her. I asked her if she was going to cook dinner. She did not answer. I then asked her if she had heard me. She did not answer. I got upset and screamed, “Mom can you hear me? She did not answer. I got desperate and cried out “Are you okay?” She did not answer. Then I started screaming, “Momma help me.” I screamed this several times in desperation. She did not answer. Then I woke up. In real life, when I was a young child, I was left in the car after a road trip. I had fallen asleep. When I woke up I started screaming, “Momma, help me.” Like in the dream, my mother did not answer, and I got hysterical. Finally, God took pity on me and he said, “Susie, open the door.” I did and went into the house and went to bed. This experience is now a metaphor for me. When we are wounded and hysterical, we need to reach out to God and ask for help. Sometimes he will answer and sometimes he won't. When this happens, we must just open the door and go home, which is a brighter tomorrow Attachments:
