The biological cycle of life is birth and death. The spiritual cycle of life is being born into the world of the spirit followed by the death of the ego. Of course, the ego never really dies, but it does diminish. How does this happen? A recognition of fact that there is a Higher Power that knows what is best for us.
The spiritual path is a journey of learning experiences following a graduation to the next level of new consciousness. This metamorphosis is sometimes painful, but it is always followed by enlightenment. During the process we let go of our shortcoming and the mandates of our ego and find serenity in the process.
I am letting go of my enmeshment with LAA and it is very painful. But I know I will end up in a better place . . .
Change is to human life what the metamorphosis is the caterpillar.
It is the inevitable cycle of life.
Without change, there is no life.
