I’m going to start discussing my dating experience and quest for love. This is great. I look forward to watching your journey unfold. Dating in recovery can be complicated, but not impossible. In my opinion, there will be highs and lows. Remember your sensitivity to rejection, and do not perceive rejection when somebody just needs their space. Relationships are one of the greatest adventures in life. Love addicts cannot just follow their emotions because many of them come from our inner child. Still, we can learn from trial and error. I found my husband Frank when I was 60 years old. We were on a crooked path for a while. But he adored me, and I deserved that. LOL. May he rest in peace. Susan |
