Remember . . . Let go and let God. You are not letting go of something you cannot change, you are putting that person, place or thing, in the care of God. We are addicts. Letting go is hard for us. We are afraid of change. When a relationship ends after a rejection it is even more painful. As love addicts, we try to reverse the situation rather than feel the pain. We do all kinds of illogical things to resist the inevitable. But this enslaves us to desire. It is very important that we turn this over to the care of God and let him take us to a better place. We are not going to be able to float down the river of life until we let go of the things we are moored to. Attachments:

Thank you Susan, this post Is very beautiful! You remind me many important traits of being an addict. The fear of change, the usless effort of trying to change situation insted of feeling the pain of losing Someone or afford rejection...
I didn't think enough about the great importance of letting go and let God!
And with this post you made me think about It properly. Letting go and letting God means letting the pain and going to a better place.
A Place of peace where there are no resentments or feelings of powerlessness, a pleace where we really are Children of God instead of addicts.
Letting God we stop suffering and we become able to welcome ourselves and others.
When I read this post I was feeling disappointed fo a situation happening in my present Life then I let go and let God and suddenly I felt relieved and ready to ho on with my Life and positive thoughts.
