Hi! Saying hello as a new member to this message board.
I am a love addict. I learned about this term in 2014 through counseling and it has changed my whole perspective on my life and dating! (Not to say it’s been easy…but certainly enlightening…)
In short, I am confident that I am a Codependent Love Addict, and a Torchbearer. But for the past 5-6 years, mostly Ambivalent. I start to think about dating and then either get bored or scared and don’t move forward.
I’ve recently met someone online and I’m excited about him. I think it’s healthy excitement. In reading this site, I’m feeling good about my direction. But I don’t want to fall into old habits. I’m looking forward to the possibility for a good, healthy relationship.
So here I am! I am open to messaging and meetings. Just figuring out where to start.
