The following came in from one of my clients. It is a good description of a ROMANCE addict . . .
Dear Susan
I am . . . . I am 26 year old man.
I know you r a busy person but I need help badly.
I feel like falling in love with every new attractive women I see.
I have had 5 girlfriends , out of which 2 were live in relations , I have had physical relation with 8 women (inlcuding one night stands).
I have been attracted to countless number of girls , even while in a relation.
Till now everything was fine because I used to find girlfriends who were not serious about marrying me,,… I am young and care free.
But this time I had a live in with a girl for 2 months who truly fell in love with me and wanted to marry me. I gave some lousy excuse and broke off just because she wanted to marry me.!
I feel really sad for her but still I will not accept her proposal because I think I need to find more women to love .its an ego boost for me if a new girl falls in love with me..
I AM NOT A SEX ADDICT BECAUSE I HARDLY HAD SEX WITH THEM . in these 2 months I lived I with her we had sex only thrice . but I enjoy talking about love with women , holding hands, going to movies, kissing etc despite not having that true feeling of love.
I always feel like finding someone new after a few days.
Till now it was cool but now as my age increases I feel to get married ….and I am very afraid that I will land up in a extra marital affair because of my habits.
Plus I feel like falling in love again and again with different girls without a committed relation .
I NEVER HAD A COMMITTED RELATION!
Please get me out of this mess …please
