I recently started reading a book that I find entertaining and yet a practical wise one> "GOD NEVER BLINKS" 50 lessons for Life's Little Detours by Regina Brett. She's so good. It's like "Pearls of Wisdom ". It's enlightening for those in recovery too.
In lesson 14 (If a Relationship Has to Be Kept Secret, You shouldn't Be in It.) I got this >
4 Ground Rules For Dating (S.A.F.E) 1. Secret. Can the relationship pass public scrutiny? If a relationship has to be kept secret, you don't belong in it. 2. Abusive. Does it harm you or degrade you or your children in any way? 3. Feelings. Are you in the relationship to avoid painful feelings? Is it a mood-altering relationship? 4. Empty. Is it empty of caring and commitment?
If you know any book that is enjoyable to read and yet offers something like "Pearls of Wisdom " pls let me know. Thanks!

Proverbs in the Old testament part of the Bible is a rich source of wisdom. The WORD of GOD is the best source of "pearls of wisdom". It is timeless, powerful, and true. It is good to daily spend time reading and meditating on them prayerfully. It is true life-changing. I got set free from my addiction/obsession by applying them. It is the no.1 book for many and it's actually the best-selling book of all time (The Bible).
