I've been reading "Healing your aloneness." What an amazing book for me. So much can I relate to about operating out of ego. Looking back, I think that has been my way of dealing with life for 40 years. I read about getting in contact with the child within through Meditation. So I look at a picture of me when I was younger, I closed my eyes, start taking in deeps breathes, which seemed difficult and a lot of work, but the book stated shallow breathes would close off my child. How will I know I've made contact? How will I know the thoughts are not the adult me? I sort of was fearful last night, because I'm not sure if the thoughts were his. I wish I knew someone that could help me understand inner child meditation better.
