I'm in therapy 2 years and a half now with a Lacanian therapist.
I have a very good empathic relationship with her.
Her method is making the person the center of therapy. I'm free to talk, move, stand up, showing and repeating gestures while I'm talking.
I feel she likes me, she approves me, she respect me, she admires me, she cares about me.
I'm studing to be a counselor and I think my therapist perfectly suites the caracters of the couselor described by Carl Rogers: Unconditional Acceptance, Congruence, Empathy. Well she is this all.
Lacan was a psychoanalist who had studied Freud, my therapist I think is more similar to a counselor.
I have worked very much with her in 2 years and I overcame many barriers inside of me. I think our relationship of therapy worked out because I feel she really cares about me.
In this therapy I am the center, I have to solve my problems, I have to find the solutions because I am the onlyone to have the key.
Once my therapist told me: Lacan says that only "Light" knows that little piece missing to complete the puzzle.
