Breathe on me, breath of God, Fill me with life anew, That I may love what Thou dost love, And do what Thou wouldst do.
Breathe on me, breath of God, Until my heart is pure, Until with Thee I will one will, To do and to endure.
Breathe on me, breath of God, Blend all my soul with Thine, Until this earthly part of me Glows with Thy fire divine.
Breathe on me, breath of God, So shall I never die, But live with Thee the perfect life Of Thine eternity.

Thanks for noticing. Early in recovery, as I was analyzing all my addictions in light of what I was reading and learning in AA, I decided that our problem was a combination of things, and our emotions, our minds, our bodies and our souls needed to be healed. Until I got to AA, I had tried everything except healing the soul. That was the missing element which is why I place spirituality in such high regard. It is interesting that you should mention this at this time. I am reading Thomas Moore's, "Care of the Soul." I always thought he was a theologian, but he is a psychiatrist who like Jung and others has learned the dangers of leaving the soul unattended. You are so kind C. As always, it is an embarrassment of riches to have you and the board in my life. It lifts up my soul. It is my home. It brings up such tender feelings. My head is reeling. God . . . May I stay a little longer. www.amazon.com/Thomas-Moore/e/B000AQ15XA

I just wanted to share some of my favorite sites for spiritual information: 1-youtube: search Supersoul Sunday and watch some of the guests Oprah has on there. Michael Singer is great, Brene Brown is good and So is Alanis Morissette. They all speak of ways to improve our lives. 2-books like The Untethered Soul, The Alchemist, The Book of Awesome and so many I can not list them all. 3-watching Dr drew Pinsky on YouTube-some of his interviews on addictionHe is an addiction specialist that understands addiction and is an advocate for addicts to get clean. He is also a fan of the 12 step program. 4-SLAA or CODA or AA-realky any 12 step you feel would help you on your road to recovery 5-regular meditation, exercise and time out in nature. These have been so essential in my healing. 6-this forum
If you guys have more-please feel free to list!
