April 15, 2024 A friend told me recently that she was lonely. I sympathized and asked her if she had friends. "Not that kind of loneliness," she said. "I have been lonely since I was a child because my mother was too sick to love me." I felt sad for her because, in my opinion, there was a solution to her problem that she was not taking advantage of. I believe that the deep-seated loneliness we feel, often left over from childhood deprivation, is a calling card from God. Only his love, and a personal relationship with him, can fill that hole in our psyche. This is what it means to be WHOLE/HOLY. Attachments:
