Introduction

When I was young, I used to listen to love songs, and I quickly internalized them. This led to my misconceptions about love and my love addiction. In recovery I decided that if I sang love songs to my Higher Power, I would also internalize my newfound relationship with him. This led to a love of Christian poetry and song lyrics. In the Bible David's poetry to God are called psalms. They are renowned all over the world. I have selected some of my favorites on this group of threads. They keep me in remission from my love addiction and magnify my faith in God which in turn makes me happy and sustains me during a crisis.
