Boredom is the sensation that we women who love too much so often experience when we find ourselves with "nice" men: no bells peal, not rockets explode, no stars from fall from heaven.
In the absence of excitement we fell antsy irritable, and awkward a generally uncomfortable state that is covered by the label boredom.
Our skills at relating are honed for challenge, not for simply enjoying a man's company. There is more discomfort in the presence of steady, dependable, cheerful stable fellows then there ever is with men who are unrepsonsive, emotionally distant unavailable or uninterested.
